Re: Vintage Omega Seamaster indentification

: I'm pretty sure that The watch in the auction is a fake. Do u have
: pics of yours or other information from inside the watch like
: caliber# and the caseback reference # from inside the watch? If
: it's a fake then it's worth gold scrap value. If it's real then
: we would need all the above mentioned reference numbers along
: with good pictures to be able to help you with an opinion as to
: value.

: Hi everybody!

Thanks for the reply, Mike! I aprreciate it! Unfortunately I don't have those numbers... I think I'll have to take the watch to a watchmaker to get those.

Untill then, I've uploaded some pictures:

I hope these help... As said, any new information would be much aprreciated.

I can also tell you that as the Ebay guys watch, the band on mine is also marked with CT 18750. And unfortunately, it can't be seen on the uploaded photo of mine (as the encription is quite faded), but on the back of the watch there is an encription like this:

*the omega sign*
OMEGA
Seamaster
18 k
O 75 O
SWISS MADE

The watch was my grandfathers and I would guess that he bought it anywhere between 20-50 years ago. I doubt it's a fake, but who knows...

Thanks!

Igor
