This watch does not look similar to other Omega pocket watches I have seen. There does not appear to be markings on the movement that identify the watch as Omega, which are typically present, nor a serial number used after 1894 or so.

It was a common practice to sell watch movements and cases separately in many parts of the world, allowing the purchaser the option to spend on what was important to him: accuracy (movement) or appearance (case). Thus, the case markings may be no indication of origin. Similarly, watch faces are easily exchanged.
