Re: Question about the Planet Ocean Chronograph?

: Hello all,
: I wanted to ask you guys what you thought about the Planet Ocean
: Chronograph 2910.51.82. I just got this watch for fathers day as
: my first Omega. I have read several things both good and bad
: about the 3313 engine. The watch that I recieved has the rubber
: wristband on it but I have ordered the metal band to replace
: that.

: I just wanted to see what your guys' thoughts were on the general
: quality of the watch vs others, or any recommendations you might
: have for care, etc.

: Thanks so much,
: Chili

Early problems, early disgruntledness because it wasn't made by Lemania. (Lemania had made all of Omega's chronographs since the 1930s.)

Most of the problems lay in parts in the chronograph which have been redesigned and replaced -- and the number of problems have been average since, in my view.
