Omega Seamaster Deville

I am looking at a Seamaster Deville but it has an unusual pale blue face and i am unsure as to whether this is original or refinished.
the case number, serial number and movement (17 jewels) are all correct according to the official omega info site. The picture on the site is of a gold version but stainless steel was also available. no note about coloured dials though....any ideas folks? its a gift so i don't want to get it wrong!
