: Thanks for replying, would you mind explaining what its is that
: gives it away (other than the lack of an obvious serial number
: on the lug?) it looks like a very high quality fake if it is....

I am much like yourself or like you should be feeling right now.
You have given a good description of the watch being a novice. You probably do not know much about watches, just like myself.
So, I and you, try to provide as much information as possible even including photos.
You are asking for help to identify this watch as being authentic and then when you finally do get a reply it is a one line, sometimes less than one line from someone on the board saying only "It's a fake" That's 3 words.
I am aware of Hewboy and from what I have seen he seems to be knowledgeable about watches.
But for someone like yourself that has gone to the trouble to post this question and provide as much information as you have, then to have someone unknown to you simply say "It not real" is really no help to you at all.
Hewwboy, What makes you so sure this watch is a fake?
Please give a reason for your observation other than "It's not real"
What facts tell you this watch is a fake?
That's like saying every diamond is fake.
If you call something fake, then why not provide us with the facts? Otherwise one loses ones creditability.
