Re: Maison fondee en 1848
In Response To: Maison fondee en 1848 ()

Hi my friend I research and read your article in the internet.... Actually Im arnold tobias of #183 valley road camp phillips, delmonte plantation agusan canyon, manolo fortich bukidnon. I have a omega speedmaster automatic with engrave at the back maison fondee en 1848 type or mmodel of watch. I bought it in Japan, we back December 1994. I would to ask from the reader if what is the prevailing price as of now this kind omega watch....? thanks in advance please do email to me....

Hello again everyone. My friend, a watch collector, showed me again
: a very beautiful mint condition looking watch. The most striking
: thing about this watch was the case back saying "maison
: fondee en 1848" with serial number 55710183. The front was
: a very simple but elegant silver dial which just had date window
: and the markings Omega with omega mark, and close to six o'clock
: just the word "Automatic". It kind of looks to me like
: a Seamaster de Ville, but without the De Ville mark. The watch
: strap says Seamaster on the buckle. I surfed the net and found
: that there was a Speedmaster produced in the early 1990's with
: Maison fondee en 1848 on the back, but this watch he showed me
: was definitely not a Speedmaster chronograph, and looked to me
: like something more from a Seamaster De Ville type watch. Anyone
: have any idea about the model of this watch. Thanks in advance.
