: Does anyone have any experience with the TOURBILLON 1 winder from
: orbita. I'm thinking about buying this one for my Planet Ocean.
: Or any experience with any of their watch winders.
: Thanks!
I generally think watch winders are an overpriced waste of time and money -- unless you have several complicated or non-quickset date watches and you alternate which you wear. That said, I have owned several, and I still own a few. ;)
I still own a few winders that haven't broken! The rest (cheap ones) are now history.
It is worth it to spend some money for a winder. The cheap ones last no more than 18 months.
Orbita makes some very reasonably priced winders. I have more than one Orbita winder, which are several years old, and still doing well. They make a fine winder.
Underwood makes fine winders as well. Every other brand I have owned broke.
