Re: Good deals from Authorized Dealers?

: Hello there everyone. I was wondering if I could get some
: recommendations for AD's who give good/deep discounts. I have
: been looking online for a while now at different watch sellers,
: but I am a little hesitant to get my first nice watch from one
: of the grey dealers. However, as this was a birthday present
: with a strict budget (where anything over I have to make up
: myself) I was wondering who could help me get a good deal. I
: would like an Omega speedmaster automatic with a steel band,
: black or blue dial. I've been looking at the 3210.50 & the
: 3212.80. I can only do around 2,500 or less. I'm in Texas.

: Thanks so much for the help!

Omega has cracked down on dealers who do discount, and has generally moved to fewer dealers in the US market, dropping smaller and lower volume dealers.

I don't know the Texas market, but I have found that independent, rather than "chain" dealers are more willing to deal.
