Re: Omega 14k Ultra Thin Yellow Gold Band

Some of these US made ultrathins do appear on the Omega database and yours is one of them. The movement and possibly dial was imported directly by the Norman Morris Corporation. The case, usually of high quality, was mad ein the US. The data from the OVDB is quite clear on this one

International collection
1965
Movement
Type: Manual winding (mechanical)
Caliber number: 620
Superflat
Created in 1960
17 jewels
Case
Solid yellow gold
Case back
Press-in

This watch may have existed with different dials.

The Omega Vintage Database is far from complete, and in any case,
: does not include every variation of case metal/strap in which a
: watch was offered. Thus it is unsurprising you did not find an
: exact match.

: What four digit number did you use on the website?

: Omega watches include three numbers (sometimes four) on almost all
: watches:

: >> movement serial number of 7 or 8 digits on the movement
: itself; this can tell you the approximate age of production of
: the movement

: >> calibre number; a 3 or 4 digit number near the capital
: Greek letter omega on the movement, which can often allow you to
: find a closely matching watch in the database and may comment on
: the quality of the watch

: >> case/model number on the inside of the case back; yours
: indicates that 1) the watch is from the Jewelry Collection of
: watches, or 2) if the watch is older than the mid-1960s that it
: was a "US Collection" watch shipped to the US uncased
: and put into a case in the US (thus avoiding import duties).

: >> case serial number; 7 digit number found on gold cases
: until the mid-1950s and steel cases prior to the mid-1940s

: More details can get you more information or help us better focus
: your search.
