Were Bucherer chronographs made by Omega?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows about Bucherer chronographs from the 70's. From my research, it seems that most of them were Lemania-powered and some shared case designs with Omega. If you do a google search for Bucherer bullhead, you will come up with a watch that has the same case as the Seamaster bullhead, with a different dial. The so called "Anakin Skywalker" chronograph also has a Bucherer variant. If you search for Bucherer 1340, you will see a near-twin of the Tissot Navigator (also part of Omega). There are also Bucherer chronos that do not have an Omega or SSIH cousin, making the comparison more difficult.

Were all Bucherer watches made by SSIH, were their chronographs made by Omega in the 70's or is it a complete coincidence, considering the many small supplier companies involved in making parts and sub-assemblies for watches in that era?

Thanks,

Jed
