I just checked the Ashford.com "Special Offer" button for the 2531.80.00 "Bond" Seamaster for a common comparison. $1400 or 20% off MSRP. I can get that discount at dozens of Authorized Dealers in half a dozen malls within a 10 mile radius of my house. I even wonder if they will survive much longer. They can't honor a warranty if they aren't in business.

Don't get me wrong, I think Ashord has been great. I have spent a lot of money there. No sales tax, free overnight delivery, 60 day return policy, 2 year extended warranty. They have great service, I just don't think they are the best places to buy. My Authorized Dealer is out of state (no sales tax), and gives 35% off MSRP less $20 shipping/insurance. That saves $242.50 over Ashford.com from an Authorized Dealer.
