I have an Omega Blue Rubber Strap on Titanium clasp. I bought it new 18 months ago for GBP 400.00 - I bought it as a replacement for the standard stainless steel bracelet for my Omega Seamaster Professional 300m, the strap was supplied & fitted by an Omega retailer/agent.
Problem - The strap has disintegrated at one end, where it affixes to the shoulder of the watch. I returned the strap to the retailer on the 8th May 2014.
Omega have had the strap for 6 weeks now, and the best they can come up with is.. "that the failuer of the strap is down to fair wear & tear"...
Background - I alternate between my other watches, so only wear the Omega Seamaster Professional 2-3 times a week.
I wonder what other Forum readers think of this Omega product support?
