If it is truly an authorized Omega dealer, then you should have no worries about either serial number or factory warranty. Just make sure they really are authorized by Omega!
Omega's pricing differs from country to country--by more than just the currency exchange rate. I do not know how the pricing is in your country, but the retail price here in the USA is $1395. So $812 would equal almost 42% off of our retail price.
