150th Anniversary Seamaster

I recently ran across a Limited Edition 150th anniversary Seamaster and wanted to get some more info. I purchased the watch for 1250USD. It does have some slight scratching on the bezel that is hardly noticable, but I would like to get it polished out. My concern is that polishing will damage the bezel. Anyone have experience here? I think the bezel is white gold and have heard that polishing turns it yellow? Does Omega sell new bezel inserts? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
