the piece on this site about Gray Market watches- it's real helpful! From there, it's a matter of preference/comfort level. There are valid arguments from both sides, but it is agreed upon by all to be sure to go with a place that does NOT remove serial numbers. For me, it seemed the way to go given what I was willing/able to spend. Got mine (the full size auto 2531.80) for 960.00 from Ashford, includes shipping. If they stay afloat, I have a three year warranty through them, as opposed to Omega's 1 year. The way I see it, if I get through the first year, then I am still on top with the extended coverage!
