: these days! I finish seating the pin using the
: screw type pusher against the
: protruding end of the pin. The pusher driven
: pin moves so slowly and with such control
: that the
: pin doesn't slide off the end of the bracelet
: pin. If it does slide, it's not going to
: move far enough
: to scratch the bracelet.

I also like to do things for myself but I draw the line at link removal. My local jeweler does it while I wait for only $7.50 and I know he won't slip and scratch something. After all, you only need this service once for each watch.
