positions at night. I just started putting mine on the side, crown up, and am losing 2 secs at night (after gaining 2 secs each night). Definitely reinforced for me how much change you can get with different positions (that's a four sec difference!) I've not yet tried crown down or face down yet. Keep a log of these gains and losses, and hopefully you will find the happy medium. If not, I wouldn't blame you at all for sending it back. I can definitely understand you frustration. Keep in mind, however, that it's likely that if you had gotten the quartz, you'd have still been longing for the watch with soul! Best of luck to you!
