: Does anyone know what the numbers on the
: bracelet of the Omega SMP 2531.80 are
: supposed to mean?
The 1503/825 is the model number of the bracelet. The first part indicates the style, the second should be the width and metal. For comparison, the polished steel bracelet for my Deville Prestige is labeled 1508/835.
Not sure about the 32 and 32S. Same on my SMP, but my Deville has 50 instead.
Notice that the "HAA" (which on mine says "HBD") is stamped, not cast into the bracelet. This is a production code that is internal to Omega, which has no meaning of any importance to anyone outside of Omega's production facility.
: Also, is there anyway to tell if the bracelet
: is made in Switzerland? (nothing imprinted
: on my bracelet - Derek's FAQ states that the
: newer SMPs either have it printed or don't)
Right. That means that if it DOESN'T say where it was made, then it *is* the Swiss made bracelet.
