OK, thanks Derek. The reason I asked is that the very first time I saw the SMP 2531.80, I noticed two models in the window, priced differently. The vendor explained one was battery operared, the other was automatic. Apart from the battery, the only other difference according to him was that one of them had an aesthetically pleasing "sweep second hand" which was much more pleasing on the eye than the regular tick/tock movement of the standard second hand. But I can't remember which of these two watches had the sweep, and which had the regular tick/tock! As a rule, is it fair to say that what I describe above as a "sweep second hand" is seen on all Omega automatic watches, while all battery Omega watches have the regular second hand? Any help appreciated. Thanks
