some of your cost may be offset by the starting price of the watch. You had said "1200+4.5%+20%" and Ashford usually has on-line coupons for up to 20% off. I got my SMP for 1200- the 20%, making it 960 U.S. So, if customs and excise chooses to nail you on the other costs, then hopefully you'll save with the on-line coupon. I got mine through www.google.com and entered "ashford.com deals" When you purchase on-line, you just enter in the coupon code. Hope this helps!
