SMP time regulation

Hey there, folks! I am the proud and happy owner of a new SMP. Had it about 3 days now and absolutely LOVE it. I'm currently in the stage of trying to figure out the best way to balance out the small gains/losses in time. In any one 24 hr period, I've never gained nor lost more than 2 seconds, so I am very pleased with the accuracy. It only loses about 2 sec's in the day. I've not been able to get the watch to gain time on face up or crown up at night, yet, but will continue to experiment.

I'm curious about others' experience with different resting positions at night. Just wondering if there's any continuity to the gain/loss of time by position. i.e. face up generally loses; crown down generally gains.

Even if it's completely different from watch to watch, let me know your experience and how much variation you get. I suppose I'm a bit strange in that I think this is a fun process and actually like the "character" imparted by these minor changes, but it makes this small mechanical device on my wrist seem almost like it has it's own personality.

Oh well, enough goofy philosophical thoughts! Let me know what you think and about your experience. Thanks in advance!

Andrew
