That sounds very impressive, my wrist is only 6 1/2"--even though I am neither short or particularly skinny.

Extra links can be ordered direct from Omega USA (or any other reginal Omega distributor). Full size links for the 2531.80 are about $28 and half size links are about $14. Omega USA's number is 800-456-5354.
Also, a posting here like you did plus one on the TimeZone Omega forum (See the NETWORK page on this site for the link) may turn up someone with extra links that would give them to you!
