You are overthinking the issue.

There is no reason to believe ANY current model Seamaster that is not a Limited Edition is going to have any noticably better resale value than any other current Seamaster of the same age and condition.

If you are worried that much about resale there are only two good solutions:


  1. Buy a USED Seamaster, so what you pay is already equal to the current resale price.

  2. Forget buying an expensive watch and put you money in a REAL investment--not a DEPRECIATING asset like a luxury watch.
