Ashford has had these specials for quite a while; however, the discount you received from the "special" does not exceed the discount received from a 15-20% coupon. You can use the coupon against Ashford's already reduced rates, i.e, SMP 2531.80 retails for $1750 Ashford sells it for $1200, 20% off comes to $960. When I purchased my SMP I also compared the "special" offer (as described accruately by Michael) but found the price to be somewhat higher than the additional coupon in all cases I tried. (I purchased 2 watches using other coupons). Ashford will not allow you to get the special offer and then use a coupon against that amount.
