: Ashford has had these specials for quite a
: while; however, the discount you received
: from the "special" does not exceed
: the discount received from a 15-20% coupon.
: You can use the coupon against Ashford's
: already reduced rates, i.e, SMP 2531.80
: retails for $1750 Ashford sells it for
: $1200, 20% off comes to $960. When I
: purchased my SMP I also compared the
: "special" offer (as described
: accruately by Michael) but found the price
: to be somewhat higher than the additional
: coupon in all cases I tried. (I purchased 2
: watches using other coupons). Ashford will
: not allow you to get the special offer and
: then use a coupon against that amount.

Chuck,
I beg to differ. I did it twice in the last 2 months. They say you can't do it, but when you put the codes in while in the shopping cart, they allow it! I got a SMP and Breitling SOP recently, and paid in the $950's for each
