Hi Fellow Omega Fans, Today I found a watch repair man that works near my home in Florida. I'm glad I did since I just moved back here two weeks ago and I didn't want to find one after something goes wrong with any of my watches. He seems to be a honest guy he has also been in business in the same location for a number of years. I brought in my vintage Gruen and asked him how much it would cost to have it oiled. He asked if there was anything wrong with the watch and I said no it keeps perfect time so he said that if it isn't broken why have something done to it. Seems logical to me it shows that he's not out to just make a buck. So then I asked him if he could replace the battery in my quartz version of the Semaster Pro and if he could re-seal it and do a pressure test on it when I need it done in the future. He said yes he could. So my question is would you trust letting someone else besides Omega do this kind of work on a watch? I'm kind of weary of sending my watch to Omega and not having it for up to six weeks and spending a good amount of money on it when this guy can do it for less and have it back to me with in a day or so. Any input is welcome. Thanks, Damon
