The Watchseller (Ed Loebl) is a dealer of long standing good reputation. I would not worry about anything purchased from him. That price seems about normal for that model in good condition.
YOu may be able to save money on getting the serial number--email Ed and ask him if he recorded it when he inspected the watch.
