Bond watch at Duty Free or in Switzerland?

Is there any benefit to buying an Omega at a duty free outside of the US or buying one right in Switzerland? I was in Zurich last weekend and didn't get a chance to go to any Omega stores since they close early, but would it be cheaper to get the watch right from the source?

I also saw the Bond at a duty-free in Charles de Gaulles in France, and it was around 8000 FRF, which I think equates to a little under the $1200 I last saw on Ashford. Any benefit or drawback to buying duty free?

Any warranty issues to buying outside of the US? I didn't want to buy without a little research, and I may be back to Paris and/or Zurich in the near future, so any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!
