Re: Rubber Strap Question
In Response To: Rubber Strap Question ()

Actually, had you shopped around a little more, you could have gotten your watch authorized for around $1000. As per referral from Keith, I picked up my Bond SMP for $1157. An excellent 'authorized' deal. Thanks again Keith.

And Derek is correct as usual. The rubber strap is made for the SMP. There is a ridged version and a domed version. The ridged comes in blue and black. The domed version comes in black for sure, I don't know about blue. Keith can post scans of his SMP AC on the domed strap. Looks great too.

: I have the Bond model - which I just bought
: several weeks ago and am elated with. I have
: been looking through a lot of the websites
: and saw the blue rubber band that looks
: pretty sporty and am wondering if that is
: something I can order, and whether or not it
: will "fit" the watch as to look
: seamless...like I bought it that way. The
: jeweler I bought it from said that because I
: have the metal band, the rubber band does
: not have the hardware to make it look right.
: I bought the watch at Baily, Banks and
: Biddle. On another note - I'm kind of kcking
: myself for paying 1500 when it sounds like I
: could of gray marketed for 1000!! And still
: got a watch with the serial numbers and all
: else in tact....Live and learn huh?
