Being at loose ends, I spent an hour roaming the net looking for info on this watch. The only reference to the movement I could find (from ads) was that it was a Swiss made quartz (which you already knew). I suspect that your info about it being used in some Tag Heuers may be right, as both brands are part of the Movado Watch Group. Being a watch that is currently in production, offered extensively by many online dealers, and running in the $225-$250 price group, there is very little chance, I suspect, of finding much discussion of it online. It's not really a collector's item (at least not yet).So just sit back and enjoy it. It's a very handsome looking watch, by the way.
