I checked the Omega website. There's a mid-size Blk/Blk in quartz. Derek may know if its available as an automatic. Not everything is on the website.
With regard to Ronin's comment, I agree. While the large watch is not right for everyone, see if you can try on a full and mid size somewhere where you can see yourself in a mirror.
While the full size was intially slightly big to my taste, I got used to it quickly. The midsize I felt was just to small. If they made a version around 37mm/38mm wide (half way between the two), it would be the perfect compromise IMO. But they don't!
