Thanks Derek for the comment. I guess I didn't manage to make my point. I just wanted to note that, until the next Bond film, there is no point in discontinuing the SMP model which is one of the OMEGA best sellers.
But, once the new film is released (hipotetically with the new model), it sounds plausible that the new sword hands becomes the Bond Model. Or perhaps they aren't endorsing Bond movies anymore. Or perhaps they are manufacturing the current Bond SMP forever (hope so, since I am mostly sold on the Bond Quartz and don't want it to be a soon discontinued model).
I'll wait a couple of weeks for the Basil 2001 news though.
