: Where can I find a reference book on vintage
: Omegas...one that speaks about the movements
No such animal. The closest is "Omega Designs" by Anton Kreuzer, which is an expensive coffee table book.
Has good listings of specs of vintage Omega movements. Overall though, the book is a somewhat rambling collection of chapters that provide a spotty history of Omega watches. Really good photos, though almost all seem to be Omega publicity shots.
But there are NO books that show even a marginal collection of the watches themselves. you will have more luck searching good vintage watch dealer sites like www.artoftime.com and www.gisbert-joseph.com to see lots of photos of vintage Omegas.
