Quartz movements do not have a 'sweep' second hand. Sweep refers to how a mechanical watch's second hand moves in 1/5th or 1/8ths of a second increments. Your quartz watch has a 'jump' second hand which moves in only 1 second increments.

: markings particularly 9, 10, 11 and 12
