How old is it. Did you buy it new? Was it from an authorized dealer? A scan would be helpful. As we have found out there are occassional variations, usually speciality items such as the Japanese red SMP. What color is the face, while or blue? Does it have the helium valve crown at 10 o'clock?
: I have an SMP chrono SS with 4 lines of writing
: near the date window.. not 5 lines as do the
: ones I see for sale currently. The 5 line
: ones have the extra line saying chronometer.
: Mine is an automatic movement. Mine reads
: Omega Seamaster Professional 300m/1000ft.
: I've not been able to find any information
: on why or when models had the 4 line
: lettering. Anyone know?
