Thanks! I don't think I need _much_ convincing - the only thing is that practically all of my friends think that it's a waste of money to spend so much on a watch (I'm 21), but I guess it doesn't matter what they think! :-)
If I were buying it with money that I'd earned then I wouldn't get it (since I'm otherwise a struggling student), but my grandmother recently passed away and has left me £1000, so I think the watch would be an ideal thing to get with the money since it's something that I've wanted for a long time, and it'll be something nice to remember her by that I can hopefully keep and enjoy for the rest of my life!
