I'm sorry, but I don't think it's as simple as that. Call it vanity if you like, but I _do_ care what other people will think. If I think, from my own point-of-view, that the fullsize looks good on me, but to other people it looks like a weird huge chunk of metal on a thin wrist, then I'm not going to get the fullsize.
I am acutely aware that I am thinner than normal. I am 21 years old, and about 6'2", and whilst I'm not as thin as many of the same height, I am still thinner than I would like to be, and I wouldn't like to wear something that, to other people, makes me appear even thinner.
Maybe I'm just being overly self-conscious...
