Carpe Diem + or -2

It is kind of funny how we all take the accuracy of our timepieces so seriously, isn't it? Two seconds a day!! WOW - how do we function? I love my watch! - I bought it for the looks - the way it feels on my wrist - the way my friends look at it and wish they had one - the way I get a compliment every once in a while when a longing buyer see's the beauty, and more importantly - the way it reminds me of what I have accomplished in life to be able to afford such a luxury. It is obscene that I have spent this much money on a watch considering I could have fed at least 100 people in the world had I directed my dollars elsewhere. Two seconds a day? Two minutes a day? What does it really matter? Time is passing like the wind - the focus of the Seamaster is not the exact depth of the Sea, but being a Master of your life. Dig on that for a while....carpe diem (plus or minus a couple of seconds!! it doesn't matter!!)

Hell0 all;
: I'll very much appreciate getting an answer to
: a question.
: I purchased an Omega 8 days ago. It was a
: Seamaster Cronometer 2254.50 (Black dial
: & bezel and new designed bracelet).
: However after decades of wearing quartz
: watches I have been surprised of the
: relatively inaccuracy of the new
: chronometer.
: In fact it slows by average 2sec/24h. Should I
: consider that amount to be normal and ignore
: it or does it need some kind of alignment?
: By the way I'm very happy with the watch and
: find it to be a real piece of attraction.
: Thanks in advance
: Baruch.
