I couldn't agree with you more! I bought mine for the looks, prestige, the name and what I have accomplished in life so far! By the way, I own the black on black with the Bond style bracelet and love it. Hopefully next year I will get one of the speedmasters because it looks cool! Regards to all, Ben.
: It is kind of funny how we all take the
: accuracy of our timepieces so seriously,
: isn't it? Two seconds a day!! WOW - how do
: we function? I love my watch! - I bought it
: for the looks - the way it feels on my wrist
: - the way my friends look at it and wish
: they had one - the way I get a compliment
: every once in a while when a longing buyer
: see's the beauty, and more importantly - the
: way it reminds me of what I have
: accomplished in life to be able to afford
: such a luxury. It is obscene that I have
: spent this much money on a watch considering
: I could have fed at least 100 people in the
: world had I directed my dollars elsewhere.
: Two seconds a day? Two minutes a day? What
: does it really matter? Time is passing like
: the wind - the focus of the Seamaster is not
: the exact depth of the Sea, but being a
: Master of your life. Dig on that for a
: while....carpe diem (plus or minus a couple
: of seconds!! it doesn't matter!!)
: Hell0 all;
