Remember in the late 60's before we had quartz
watches, the Bulova Accutron advertised accuracy
of "one minute a month", or 2 sec/day. They used
a mechanical tuning fork for a reference frequency. It's amazing to see a modern mechanical watch that is just as accurate without
a built-in reference. Admire the automatic watch as you would a classic old automobile and marvel at the quality of the mechanism.
