More SMP Chronometer questions...

After getting such kind and satisfying replies for my former stupid (that's how it seems to me right now) question, I'd dare asking a few more stupid ones.
I have to note that I've already read some general answers to these questions at this site, but I'd rather ask in order to be sure about the specific model of mine - the last '2000 model chronometer.
1. Is rolling back the hands, while setting the time, harmful to the mechanism?
2. What are the limits around midnight in which I shouldn't set the date?
3. What is the glowing substance on the hands and markers?
4. I'm shooting handguns on a regular basis. Should I remove the watch off my hand while shooting for avoiding recoil shocks?
