my brother and his mate - Sibhat always argue over what's a better watch - OMEGA or Breitling.
well i must say that both have their bad sides and good sides. the bad thing about Breitlings are that if you try to do an insurance job and go to the police and say that you were mugged in a dark alley somewhere, they can ask Breitling to find it using the tracking devise with the signal in the watch. and if you're still wearing the watch, the police will find you with the watch on by following the signal. hence you could be in court for attempted insurance fraud.
However the Breitling is superior (a word that i found existed whilst reading a porno mag), because this bug giving out a signal from the watch could save your life. because if you're trapped somewhere or marooned on an island you could use this signal. that's great - because a few hundered pounds could save one's life.
still when i think about it the OMEGA Seamaster PRO isn't a bad watch - it's a bloody waste of money. why do people spend so much money one these watches - £800 on a lump of metal.
the only time that i would spend so much on a watch would be if i bought it via credit card fraud. it's an interesting method, with great and exiting concequences.
also there are better uses of spending £800 - e.g. spend it at one of those massage palours that give more than massages (if you get what i mean!!!!). or you could get a ringer (slang for a car that is stolen and maybe evolved in appearance)- like for £800 you could get a nice little sports car.
or you could spend it on naucotics and sell it for more than you bought it for. this would be a good way of earning money and then maybe spending it on expensive watches.
these are all alternative uses of using £800. or you could put it into a Barcaly's bank account (my brother's fave bank) and see the interest grow over a substantial amount of time.
oh yes what great methods.
or you could buy many CASIOS and sell them door-to-door.
the other day i was looking through the OMEGA brochure, and saw photos of many famous people modelling OMEGA watches - Pierce Brosnan, Cindy Crawford (a mighty good looking lady, however i thought that the mole on her face was a bogy), Ernie Els (well if OMEGA were so good why couldn't they get Tiger Woods), Martina Hingis and some sailors, oh yeah and Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan.
this brochure was certainly interesting reading. But after that i still didn't feel satisfied with my findings. therefore i found out the e-mail of a son of the founder of OMEGA and who is the current CEO - and when i e-mailed him i asked him why haven't they made a watch that can control a TV and VCR and also has a stop watch, alarm and world city times.
he replied that this was because the current sales for OMEGA's is decreasing rapidly and they can't risk making new revolusionary (obviously he hasn't seen the CASIO's that do this) designs.
this must be degrading to passionate followers of this company - well as i like to say "always look on the bright side of life".
maybe one day OMEGA will wake up and see that other companies like CASIO are about 10 years ahead of them in terms of 'revolutionary' designs.
come on you have to admit a TV and VCR remote watch is great.
see ya people.
