I've owned my SMP for about 18 months and it has kept nearly perfect time (+2-4 seconds per day). Two days ago, I noticed that it was gaining time...a lot of time (+6 second per MINUTE!). I was advised that I may have magnetized the watch (I don't know what that means, but I don't recall coming in contact with any magnets). I was also told that a SMP that gains time is just in need of routine maintenance. Any diagnosis or advice? If it is magnetized, can this be easily repaired?
