Hi,
I am planning to buy a new Omega Seamaster Chronograph Chronometer, automat. Silver/Silver with blue dial and silver bezel. I went to a well known watch store in Stockholm were I live. They hade exactly the model I wanted but the red dot was gone on the back of the watch and the dial were not blue but grey-black something.
I asked the salesperson that I wanted an Omega with the red dot so that I know nobody has opened the watch and that they should order one from the Omega factory in Switzerland. Then the managers comes and says to me that I must buy the watch they have in the store and that they will not order a new one.
I ask him why the red dot is gone but he has no answer and tells me that the watch has not been opened and is new. I say to him that I do not know that for sure because the red dot is gone. He refused to order a new watch from Switzerland.
Do you think I should buy a new Omega for 2 500 USD without a red dot/seal on the back of it?
I want a factory fresh watch.
What shall I do?
Please help!!
Kind regards
Bobce
