I bought it second hand a month ago on ebay in mint condition. It was purchased originally by an engineer in Aruba,
As I understand it, due to gravity, the watch will go faster or slower sitting overnight crown up or down. I generally can't stand to take mine off but it would be a good experiment to see if it changes given 24 hours in one position...then reverse it.
