: from "tantalize" which has its origins in the
: greek story of Tantalos. This greek was punished for a
: severe offense by being restrained in a river with fruit
: hung over his head. Whenever he tried to take a drink the
: gods made the water go away from his mouth. Whenever he
: tried to eat the wind blew the fruit away. And to add to
: this, a large boulder that would crush him was hung over
: his head. A fitting story for a metal used in a watch with
: a greek name. Tantalum is used more extensively on an AP
: Royal Oak model.
