Personally I prefer the blue dial, blue bezel "Bond" model over the newer black dial version. I don't like the sword hands on the new model, I prefer the skeleton hands on the Bond model. I prefer the 12 o'clock marker on the Bond model. I prefer the strap on the Bond model.
I think the new black model is too plain - it doesn't strike me as being a particularly interesting or attractive watch. The Bond model, on the other hand, does look far more interesting - the blue colour is more interesting, the strap is more interesting, etc.
