I just bought my watch last week and I had gone through the exact same dilemna as you are going through. I completely agree with what Derek said. The Bond model is much classier and can even look good with black or gray business suit...just like 007 with the Tux. in the Monte Carlo casino. The newer style is bolder and "shouts". It is much sportier, but not quite as elegant. I chose the Bond model in the end, and thus I do have a bias.
