For what it's worth, I have a 6.5 inch wrist, and the full-size looks much much better. The mid-size will makes my wrist look even thinner, whereas the full-size is perfect.
If you try the full-size on in a shop, you might think that it looks a bit big, but within a day you will have got used to it and find that it looks fine.
