Well evidently the rep is correct. The only manufactured rubber strap in 18mm is the flat model with the following part number-97998067021
Further the only deployment clasp that works with this rubber strap is st1506832117. Indeed this can be seen on strap section on this web site. I am not sure what I am going to do at this point. The flat rubber band #1 does not fit the curve of the watch, its flat across the top, which is something I don't want. Further it uses the deployment clasp I didn't want either. So I most likely am going to go with one of the 20mm blue rubber straps, that being the ridged or domed, both of which have the correct part numbers on this site and then cut them down to 18mm to fit. If I do this and you would like to know about it or how it turned out please email me personally.
